# Keyboard Shortcuts

Below you find a list of all the default keyboard shortcuts and their functions. Most of the shortcuts can be changed to individualize your control of iVP Planning. You can set new shortcuts or restore existing ones to their default with the [Input Settings](/intelligent-virtual-platform/home/ivp-planning/settings/input-manager.md).

## Camera Control (2D and 3D)

| Shortcut                          | Input Name | Function                          |

| **Right click + W / Up Arrow**    | Forwards   | Moving the 2D/3D camera forwards  |
| **Right click + S / Down Arrow**  | Backwards  | Moving the 2D/3D camera backwards |
| **Right click + A / Left Arrow**  | Left       | Moving the 2D/3D camera left      |
| **Right click + D / Right Arrow** | Right      | Moving the 2D/3D camera right     |
| **Right click + E**               | Up         | Moving the 2D/3D camera up        |
| **Right click + Q**               | Down       | Moving the 2D/3D camera down      |

| **F**                         | Focus Object  | Zoom in to the selected machine              |
| **W**                         | 3D Move       | Activate 3D-transform tools                  |
| **E**                         | Rotate        | Activate 3D-rotate tools                     |
| **R**                         | Scale         | Activate 3D-scale tools                      |
| **Delete**                    | Delete        | Delete the selected objects                  |
| **Left CTRL + LeftMouseDrag** | Box select    | Box selections for objects (only in 2D view) |
| **Left CTRL + C**             | Copy          | Copy the selected object                     |
| **F7**                        | Multi-Copy    | Copy the selected object multiple times      |
| **End**                       | Snap to floor | Snap selected object to floor                |

| **G**                | Toggle Grid       | Toggle the 2D grid                                  |
| **B**                | Add Camera        | Add a virtual camera from your current 3D viewpoint |
| **Tab**              | Switch Inputfield | Switch between the input fields                     |
| **CTRL + O**         | Open File         | Open a saved file                                   |
| **CTRL + S**         | Save Project      | Save a project / Quicksave                          |
| **CTRL + A**         | Select All        | Select all objects in the scene                     |
| **CTRL + SHIFT + A** | Deselect All      | Deselect all objects in the scene                   |
| **Left CTRL + F**    | Search            | Search object in library                            |
| **H**                | Hide Object       | Hide/Unhide the selected objects                    |
| **L**                | Lock Object       | Lock/Unlock the selected objects                    |
| **F2**               | Rename            | Rename the selected object                          |
